Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) Piling
Overview:
CFA piling is an efficient and low-vibration foundation solution ideal for a wide range of soil conditions and sensitive environments. The process involves drilling a continuous hollow-stem auger into the ground to the required depth, then pumping concrete through the auger stem as it is withdrawn.
Reinforcement can be installed into the fresh concrete if required, depending on design and loading needs. GSI’s FD45 CFA rig is purpose-built for restricted access and confined sites, offering a reduced footprint compared to standard CFA rigs while maintaining excellent performance and accuracy. CFA piling is well-suited for foundations, retaining walls, and slope stabilisation projects, providing a reliable and cost-effective solution even in challenging or urban environments.
